Christmas is notoriously not a great time to search for a job because not many people are hiring. However, there are a wealth of seasonal temporary Christmas jobs just waiting for you if you know what you’re doing. 1) Early bird
Start your search for Christmas seasonal jobs as early as possible. Most employers will start to advertise vacancies from September onwards because the hiring process can take such a long time. Be the early bird.
2) Search smart
Take a moment to consider the companies that are hiring. Industries such as hospitality, retail, catering and delivery are likely to experience increased demand and so will need to extra manpower to get through the festive season. Search smart and look in the right areas.
3) Don’t forget local businesses
Don’t just assume that is the large brands that have seasonal vacancies. A number of savvy small and medium sized companies will be looking for extra staff to benefit from the increase in sales.
