There is famous and widely acknowledged philosophy that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. If you’re going to go to all the effort to change your career, make sure you dive headfirst into something you love. What is your unique selling point, the secret sauce that you can give to the world? The world of working today is so much more varied than every before. If you love  traveling and food, find a way to do just that.

Don’t just go into the office tomorrow and quit you job without any preparation or planning. If you’re able to stick it out in your old job for a few more weeks you should start developing new skills and putting some money aside before jumping ship. Perhaps even book some holiday days to take a course or do an brief internship.
