We all go to work to get paid! Regardless of whether you love your profession or not, at the end of the day we\u2019re all in it for the money; for financial stability and to pay those pesky bills. Moreover, you need to acknowledge your worth and get paid for what you deserve. Being underpaid will lead to feeling underappreciated and ultimately unmotivated. A level of pay equal to your talents helps you to push yourself forward to excel. If you\u2019re underpaid, then it is a tell-tale sign that you should be looking to change your job to one that you deserve. Talk to your current manager about a pay raise to match your worth, otherwise start looking further afield for an employer who does value what you can bring to a role.<\/p>\n

2. You\u2019re Undervalued<\/h4>\n

Feeling valued at work is one of the biggest motivators to succeed and excel. If you do a great job on a particular project and nobody recognizes your efforts, it\u2019s very disheartening. Recognition and appreciation doesn\u2019t cost a penny but goes a long way.
