Our tech sector is crammed full of innovations and advancements even though our digital economy is still considered to be in its infancy stage.<\/p>\n<p>South Africa\u2019s tech sector is a great starting point for those just entering the workforce, and it\u2019s also an attractive option for those considering a career change. Gauteng is currently the best-paid province for a career in technology with an average salary of R599,459 with Johannesburg offering an even higher average annual pay of R602,655.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Watch this space because it isn\u2019t set to do anything BUT grow<\/h3>\n<p>Back in 1995, SA implemented the South African Information Technology Industry Strategy (SAITIS), and since then, the tech sector has really <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adzuna.co.za\/blog\/2019\/04\/15\/sas-three-fastest-growing-tech-sectors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">boomed<\/a>. The number of jobs created, and the amount of companies founded since then has been nothing but impressive.
