The latest version of Adzuna\u2019s ranking of best and worst industries\u00a0for work finds Accounting<\/a> and Engineering<\/a> jobs at the top of the list, flooding the market with opportunities, while\u00a0IT jobs<\/a>\u00a0comes out winning\u00a0with\u00a018%\u00a0of\u00a0advertised job ads in South Africa. This exciting data suggests that South Africa’s tech sector is full of opportunity and innovations. If your looking for a career change, this dynamic sector wouldn\u2019t be a bad place to start looking. This rapidly growing tech market has huge potential to create new jobs and new types of work.<\/p>\n

Johannesburg<\/a> and Cape Town<\/a> are the top cities in South Africa\u00a0for\u00a0tech opportunities with 59% and 16% respectively of all advertised jobs. Johannesburg comes up trumps with an average advertised salary of\u00a0R475,798, 40% higher than the national average wage<\/a>.<\/p>\n
