Accountant

DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a well-established Group Aviation industry. They provide a variety of services related to air, Ground and Medical support services and have a client base across Africa. Theyre looking to expand their team and would like to employ a new Accountant, to be responsible for all Monthly bookkeeping functions for the Group of Companies up to Trial Balance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bookkeeping Certificate/Diploma/Degree
• 2-3 years Accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Experience in the aviation or medical industry would be a great advantage
• Experience in the following will be beneficial: Excel, Xero, Quickbooks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Accountant will be responsible for compiling and submitting monthly and annual statutory and other statutory returns, as well as compiling and submitting weekly and monthly internal reports and summaries.

• Asset register, Cash Book, Journals, Bank Reconciliation's, Petty Cash, Debtors,
• Creditors, Debtors & Creditors Reconciliation's, Debt Collections, VAT & PAYE Returns
• Payroll and Payroll Administration
• Submit EMP201 returns. Submit EMP501 reconciliations, Complete and Submit employees IT3 and IRP5 certificates
• Monthly VAT calculations, Submit VAT201 returns
